After both having a former group,Bruges natives Senz ("L'S Aktivists") & No
Exp.("Black-N-White")
found eachother during the summer of 2005. No Exp.'s former group had just
come to an end.
Via a party,'Suburb Soundz', Senz got in touch with Dj Tempestas and they
eventually decided to
record a track, which was Senz' first solo-track called "Number One".
No Exp. had to perform two weeks later on DooWop's anniversary but still
needed a back-up mc. So as "Number One" started spreading in the city of
Bruges,
No Exp.hooked up with Senz & they created some fresh tracks to rock the show
that was coming up.
What initially used to be a single-time performance grew out to a firm
collaboration called
"Senz N No Exp." backed up by Dj Tempestas. Two Weeks later already, their first serious performance came:
'LOCOFLOWS', the first serious hiphopfestival in Bruges(BELGIUM), hosted by
old skool legend
Kool Koor and freestyle-champion Supernatural. Other crews were Opgezwolle
(NL) & the NY native
legendary Jeru Da Damaja.
The three youngsters got lots of props for their performance and slightly
they began to recognize that it was destined to last longer than one or two
shows.
So Nuff Said (9-7) was born !
Every Saturday,Nuff Said could be found recording in Dj
Tempestas'homestudio.
So as they kept on working the angles, other heads in Bruges started to
notice the
talents from the group. Both started with hiphop around '95, Senz & No Exp. shared the same passion
for music and mostly for the same producers(Dj Premier,Pete Rock,Marley
Marl,..) & M.C's.
While building further, two producers were found:
Big Nooz (Groningen,NL) & Atomi (Finland). Nuff Said was rocking some shows
on beats from these two beat-concoctors 'till two Hungarian cats arrived:
Mr. Joeker & Pixa.
Mr.Joeker, producer from the Hungarian hiphopcrew "Hösök" (which means
"Heroes"),
was already the actual subcontractor for the non-commercial neo-soul
project from
Belgian RNB-star Brahim, and together with No Exp. they formed
"Soulprovidaz".
Then "MeVsEye Records" proposed to release a Demo with like 5,6 songs. So
Nuff said
started recording previews again in Tempestas'homestudio.
They recorded like 'a package' of new songs and recorded the songs in Ghent
with F. Segers. For the moment, Nuff Said is working on the finishing touch from their
album.
It will contain 14 tracks and will be carrying the name "REgenesis."
