Damage is a six-piece acid punk band, and it started in Osaka on April Fool’s day in 2003. Holding glamorous and suspicious electro sound, they have shared stages with various artists, such as The Locust, Schultz (ex. KMFDM), Dope, Kid606 (Tigerbeat 6), and Ceephax Acid Crew (Rephlex). Their first demo recorded in 2003 sold limited 1,000 copies at the gigs in the wink of an eye, and it was praised as “The Single Of The Year†on Crossbeat, a major rock magazine in Japan. In 2006, their first album “Signal Newyork†was released and has sold over 3,000 copies. Moreover, in 2007, they released mini album “Mudmix†including Justin Pearson (Three One G / The Locust) remix, Cycheouts Ghost (Romz) remix and so on. Damage’s sound that has taken in Electro, New Wave, Body-Beat and Trip-Hop resounds even with New Rave sounds, which have been disorderly born at the same time all over the world.“I hear there is a scene called New Rave in London, while in Osaka, Japan, a shocking scene is coming out.
