CREATE YOUR OWN! - MYSPACE LAYOUTS!I my self have to make changes on my page and with everyday issues. many times it may have been that I am reminded intentionally and/or unintentionally. Be careful sisters because new shadahs and non muslims may get the impression that music is allowed when its not. I fight with music my self but it is our right to be reminded. I would be a sin if I didn't command the good and forbid the evil regardless of my own actions though at this time my struggle is easy. The reminder is beneficial to the believers Masha'Allah. To sum it up vain speech is haram, and so are instruments. The Prophet (Salallahu Alayhi wa Salaam) said, "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful. And there will be some people who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, 'Return to us tomorrow.' Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection." [Al-Bukhari Volume 7, Book 69, Number 494v].Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet (Salallahu Alayhi wa Salaam) said: a group of this nation will be transformed into monkeys and swine." They said, "Do not they testify that there is no god except Allah and that Muhammad is His Messenger?" He said, "Yes. And also they fast pray and perform Hajj." They said, "Then, what is their problem?" He said, "They use musical instruments, drums and female singers. (One day) they will go to sleep after a night of drinking and having fun, In the morning, they will be transformed (by Allah) into monkeys and swine."Imam Ibn Taymiyyah also said regarding the person, whose habit is to listen to music, "His state of emotions becomes less passionate when he hears the Qur'aan. On the contrary, when he listens to instruments of the devil (music), he dances a lot. If the prayer is established, he either prays while sitting down or performs it as fast as when the roaster picks seeds. He dislikes listening to the Qur'aan and does not find beauty in it while reciting it. He has no taste for the Qur'aan and feels no love for it or pleasure when it is read. Rather, he finds pleasure if he listens to Mukaa' or Tasdiyah. These are satanic pleasures and he is among those whom Allah mentioned in the Ayah, And whosoever turns away from the remembrance of the Most Beneficent (Allah), We appoint for him Satan to be a companion for him. [43:36]." [Awliyaa' Ar-Rahman].Sheikh Ibn Baz said, "Listening to music is Haram and a sin. It is a matter that leads to weakening the hearts and abandoning the Dhikr of Allah and the prayer. The scholars said about the Ayah, And of' mankind he who purchases idle talks [31:6], that idle talks means singing. Abdullaah ibn Masud, the Prophet's (Salallahu Alayhi wa Salaam) companion, used to swear by Allah that it is singing. If singing is accompanied by the Rababah, 'Ud (Arabic guitar), fiddles or drums, it is even more Haram. Any singing with any instrument is Haram and the scholars are unanimous on this. Therefore, Muslims must be aware of it. The Prophet (Salallahu Alayhi wa Salaam) said, "From among my nation there will be those who render as lawful adultery, silk (for men), AI-Khamr (alcohol) and musical instruments." [Al-Bukhari].Allah says, "Do you marvel at this statement, and laugh and do not weep, while you amuse yourselves [proudly] in vanities ? Rather, prostrate before Allah and worship Him [alone]." [Surah An-Najm (The Star) Verse 59 to 62 ]According to Ibn Abbaas , the word 'saamidoon' in this verse refers to the mushrikeen's habit of singing and playing music noisily whenever they heard the Qur'aan being recited, in order to drown out the reciters voice so that others wouldn't hear it.And in no way are we to imitate the kufar...Also, Allah says (regarding Satan) "'And excite any of them whom you can with your voice. Assault them with your cavalry and infantry, be a partner with them in their wealth and children, and make them promises.' But Satan promises them nothing except deceit." [Surah Al-Isra (The Journey by Night) Verse 64]And even if the instruments were not on the track it would still be haram because wemen are beautifying their voices in front of men when we sisters beautify our body or voice it should be for our husbands ears and eyes alone so that by being kind to our husband we my gain Allah's favor, because a man can become aroused and worse Allah can become displeased. And every action in this life should be for Allah pleasure. We can't make the Halal..... Haram nor can we make the Haram Halal.Amongst my support of the sisterhood. During different talks the subject of giving dowah came up. we've said one of the main reasons it's so hard to give dowah is because when you do so often we get negative response. sister will say stuff like "I know but I'm doing me right now" or they will say "thanks for your opinion but its not needed", instead of saying Masha'Allah I didn't know or Jazak'Allahu Khayir for the reminder and Insha'Allah can you show me where I can find the proof. By Allah this is better for us. and you can be muslim for 20 years and still may not have came across some things pertaining to this perfect way of life our religion (Deen) and our messenger's way (As Sunnah) and because we are not perfect we may forget from time to time. so just because something is new to us does not mean it’s not true, it maybe that we have not came across it yet. further more from the adhab of the Companions (Radi'Allahu Aynhum) of the Messenger of Allah (Salallahu Alayhi wa Salaam) they would not indulge in anything that they didn’t see or hear the Messenger of Allah (Salallahu Alayhi wa Salaam) indulging in. Iblis and his companions are infamous for alluding people to think the haram is halal. they are illusionists and if you really love your sisters and brothers you will warn them of Shatans evil trickery so they don’t fall victim to their devilish schemes for you cant truly belive until you want for your sister what you want for your self. Allah has informed us that in the last days our adhab in matters like our dress and our actions will seem lawful to us but verily they will not be lawful they will be a great injustic. these things we enjoin in during this life are only temporary satisfactions. However Allah’s favor is everlasting. Allah said he has bestowed his favor and chose for us our religion. This is sufficient for us we don’t need the music of the kufar to support what Allah or his Messenger (Salallahu Alayhi wa Salaam) says. there Example and advice is best for us. Though man possess flaws in his speech, Allah does not. the people of today think we are weird for being so devoted to Allah because we stay away from things we believe are haram, but on the day of standing they will wish that they would have joined us on our journey to Allah.Allah say we will not recieve our reward in full until we have sabr. so be patient with the believers and constantly make escusses for oneanother. Part of giving nasiha is being patient with those whom you give it to and have mercy with them so Allah may show His mercy to you. So regardless what you deside i will have sabr and rahma (patience and mercy) with you as you will stay in my dua.
