About Me

Visit Anthirium also on Hi5 at Anthirium Hi5ANTHIRIUM is all about satisfying the needs(or at least trying) of metal heads in Jamaica who didnt really have the opportunity of seeing such a thing as real live heavy metal. With Nemisis and his crazy riffs on his electric guitar, Ceejay damaging the drums, and Akiri with excruciating vocals (bass still open), the definate components for a hardcore band which is driven by the love of music and metal.Anthirium started by just an idea which was intended to be a joke, but after hearing and talking to some members of the notorious rock band, DOWNSTAIRS, we became very serious. Although it was just Hamilton(Nemisis) and Conway(Ceejay), they were determined to make this reality, so after they were finished with high school(Ardenne High), work began. Ceejay had recieved a drumset free of cost thanks to GRIDLOCK PRODUCTIONS' Manager, David Hewling for the enrollment of this project. Nemisis purchased an electric guitar with FX pedal and recording began. Every practice session was recorded and documented just to see how much progress was being made.Songs and covers were done and some were recorded for popularity including Death Decree and No Love. Work is still in progress as Akiri Cooper (drummer of the rock band, Gas Money) has joined to become the offical vocalist(which he does a pretty good job at). As was said before, the position of Bass is still open, however, Ronaldo would be a temp.
