About Me

Contrastincredible started the dance revolution in early 2005. Owen Hughes and Josh Korody who are good friends, started writting songs together and tried to look around for a drummer. They were more than happy when they tried out Joe Raham and it worked out perfectly, they connected right away. Josh sang a bit but they decided to add a lead female vocalist to the group. It happened to be a close friend named Allie Gammon. Josh, Joe and Owen went into the basement studio of Mike Dasilva's house (of Sleeper Set Sail) to record the 4 songs they wrote instrumentally. Allie then came home from Toronto for the summer and recorded all her vocals once the music was done, she did everything in pretty much one take.
They played a handleful of shows in the summer with bands such as the midway state, rescue, winter equinox, everything was perfect, sleep the season, Brett Frieson & the great lakes, dear jane I, attack in black and we want barabbas. The main objective of this band was to have a fun summer playing fun music and more than that was accomplished. For anyone that couldn't get a copy of the e.p. contrastincredible have put all 4 songs available to download on this myspace page. Contrastincredible Thanks you, for eveyone that came out to one or more of there shows, it meant so much.
