My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Thompson- my 1930's "Swingmaster" Tenor Guitar Herschel- a Collings F-5 Mandolin (no.45 to be exact) Luther- the septagenarian resonator who survived years in grandpa's attic Slim- a pretty, red slab of wood with a DeArmond that says Silvertone but was made by Kay Luigi- the token immigrant, 1929 Azzola violin *Jbert- special ambassador to the Canadian triangle (less aggressive than the American version)*
Influences: J.S. Bach, Bob Dylan, Deerhoof, Edgar Meyer, Chris Whitley, Hariprasad Chaurasia, Bert Jansch, Crickets and Cicadas upstate, Bill Frisell, Neil Young, John Renbourn, Charles Ives
Sounds Like: a 14 year-old tone-deaf vertically-challenged inmate imitating Eddie Van Halen and Barry Manilow's co-adopted, teenage son (who was born in Cambodia but is currently on vacation in Pittsburgh forgetting his swim trunks at the grocery store, perusing ears of corn and humming the simplest melody he can conceptualize while filming himself for future display on YouTube)
