HOUSE OF VOODOO
The Black Magic Show for Kids!

Bon Bon the Voodoo Clown was the creator and former host of the "House of Voodoo", also affectionately known as "The Black Magic Show For Kids!", which first appeared on American Television on March 29th 1962.
The show was soon dropped after outraged citizens stormed NBC headquarters in NYC immediately after the premiere on that fateful Saturday morning. Bon Bon was subsequently dragged to the street by the throng for a "tar and feathering", a practice which had been outlawed in the late 19th century.
Since then Bon Bon has tried to revive his show a dozen or so times, only to meet with similar resistence on part of the general public.
Bon Bon now spends his time writing poetry, drawing, painting, and performing music with his goth/industrial/grindcore band "SON OF ZODIAC".

Bon Bon sits in with Howlin' Wolf at a juke joint outside of Baton Rouge in the summer of 1954. In the foreground we see a young Miss Betty Page who was rumored to be foolin' 'round with both Bon Bon and The Wolf, no one knows the truth but the lady herself.
