Hi guys my name is Mark Docherty and i co-promote and resident at a clubnight called Rectify in Glasgow. Rectify is still quite a small clubnight but have already had some massive nights and solid bookings in the form of Andy Whitby, Alex Kidd, Dark By Design, Shan, Barry Connell, The Organ Donors, Mark Sherry, Simon Foy, William Daniel, Fred Baker, Cally & Juice and more on the way with K90 and Vinylgroover confirmed for our next event on May 18TH. Rectify is normally associated on the harder end of the dance scene but combine our nights with a wide variety of styles. 2007 is already looking bright with some great bookings and fantastic ideas and with the immensely increasing interest and support Rectify is definately on the up ('',)
I play monthly with Rectify doing room 2 for Inside Out* at R@TT on the last Saturday of the month which has so far saw me warm up for Kutski and Scot Project.
I was lucky enough to have played at the massive Unifi event at R@TT, in the Rectify Vs Nuklear Puppy room i played alongside Phil Yorke, Andy Whitby, Anne Savage, Kutski and Jason Cortez. In the main room there was action from Alan Belshaw, Mauro Picotto, Marcel Woods and DJ Montana! What a great night it was and the line up so far for the next one is looking very tasty indeed.
I also just had the privilege of playing for Inside Out at the Arches on the 27th Dec at the Fire it up/Discover night. Also playing that night was Eddie Halliwell, Judge Jules, Marco Bailey, Greg Downey, John Askew and John O'Callaghan ;-)
Previously i have also co-promoted and been resident of two other club nights in Glasgow, Pandemonium and Caution, which also seen us bring in some of the biggest names in the industry, Yves Deruyter, Don Diablo, Jochen Miller, Dave Joy, The Organ Donors, Oliver Klitzing, Robert Natus, Sven Wittekind, David Forbes, Mallorca Lee and Mark Sherry to name a few.
