About Me

AND LET ME TELL YOU MY YOUNG FRIENDS, THEY JUST DON’T MAKE THE SAME SOUND TODAY! THE GREAT ARTISTS IN HISTORY ARE JUST THAT--HISTORYTHE MAN WHO LOOKS LIKE ME, YES LIKE ME MR. BOB DYLAN, LADIES AND GENTLEMAN...The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides with the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of charity and good will shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon those with great vengeance and with furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know that my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee. The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides with the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. The killing of Solozzo and McCluskey is one of the greatest scenes in cinematic history. 13. It's already been said but the execution of the Heads of the Five Families is flawless, especially the scene where Neri bursts in on Tattaglia and one of his hookers and sprays them with bullets while she's screaming "Oh God, no, oh God!" Amazing. 14. Canns explosive performance. 15. Has two great charachters in the movie Vito and Mike. 16. Robert Duvall was sensational and inspirational 17. The recipe of pasta given by Clemenza 36. Fredo, the compassionate one of all! 37. Michael's "crazy eyes" before he kills Sollozo & McCluskey, aka the GREATEST SCENE IN ANY MOVIE, EVER. Bonus points for the train overhead. 38. Kay's "What the FU*K WAS THAT?!" face that ends the movie. A++, would do business again! 39. "Do you renounce Satan?" 40. Because when in doubt, put your hand in your pocket like you have a gun. 41. The nurse scaring the pogies out of all of us when she confronts Michael. 42. Moe Green losing his eye. 43. Sonny and Lucy doing it standing up. 44. Tom's expression on the other side of the door after the above. 45. The toll booth glass still falling and shattering after Sonny's assassins drive off. 46. It's probably the only movie whose mistakes do not bother me because the movie is so great (three which come to mind- sonny's phantom punches and garbage can smacks on carlo, the two disco guys in the hotel in vegas as michael gets in his car, and moe green's fruit punch-looking blood from his eye) 47. The look on vito and luca's faces when luca messes up on his speech at the wedding. 48. The ominous oranges. 49. it's probably the only movie whose mistakes do not bother me because the movie is so great (three which come to mind- sonny's phantom punches and garbage can smacks on carlo, the two disco guys in the hotel in vegas as michael gets in his car, and moe green's fruit punch-looking blood from his eye) 50. the look on vito and luca's faces when luca messes up on his speech at the wedding. 51. The scene between Michael & Carlo where Michael says " Only don't tell me that u r innocent.Because it insults my intelligence & that makes me very angry". Magestic performance by Al Pacino. 61 The whole 'resonable man' thing. 62 The way Italian milieu is captured so naturally 63 The way Vito cries after Sonny's death & asks the doctor to make it look less brutal so that Sonny's mother will find it easier to take it 64.killing the heads if the four families 65. The tragedy of Apollonia "Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Wednesday..." 66. The tiny moment at the end when Tessio realises he's "on the hook", and turns to Tom for mercy but is rebuffed and just stares his accusation, and Tom doesn't know where to look. 67.
