About Me

I am a Capricorn, professional vocalist, soon to be published mystery writer, mother, lover of life and all it holds. I am always interested in world events, politics, literature and people in general. Politically I am an Independent and open to whoever has the right ideas and can DO them. I have interest in the paranormal and consider myself a child of God and Nature. I grew up in Hawaii (Waimanalo) and a graduate of Kailua High School. Studied classical voice with the late mezzo soprano, Emily Graubard in Hollywood, Florida and perform a wide variety from classic rock and country to light broadway and film themes and am always expanding my repertoire.
I am writing a mystery series that takes place in Hawaii and find it a great challenge. Thanks to COLIN DEXTER OBE, for his input, encouragement and mentorship, JAMES ROUCH for his help and IAN RANKIN for all the advice.
UPDATE: I am writing as 'C.M. TOWSE' and am now represented by PLAINSMART PUBLISHING AGENCY, Adina Szalai, Literary Agent.
I have three young men who are the greatest joy and challenge in my life.
MUSIC: You can hear two of my demos pg 2 on My Website:

Here's some comments regarding my recording of the
song 'Yesterday Is Here' (B. Pheloung-D. Black)
"Thank you so much for letting me hear this. It really
is so good, I'd forgotten what a lovely tune it was.
It's a very touching song and you made it come to
life."
Don (Black) Lyricist extraordinaire
"This song is Haunting…. I played it once, then had to
play it again, and again. You’ve got a real good one
here. The words, the melody, and of course, that
voice. GOOD STUFF!"
HUTCH-radio personality, Hawaii.
THANKS--CYNARA Please check out this beautiful song by BECK SIAN. This song is haunting and luscious.
