PsychoSonic Boris and Hosenfefer

In 2005 there emerged a creature on the scene that claimed he’s more dangerous than Dracula and Frankenstein together and called himself PSYCHO SONIC BORIS. Of course, he got together with the musicians from HOSENFEFER – Filip, Mladen and Draza and that’s how PSYCHO SONIC BORIS & HOSENFEFER was born. Their first product - "Rocka’ Live!" CD + DVD - 2005 has the raw punk energy typical for the guys from HOSENFEFER and contains 12 covers of great garage bands from the 60s - 13 Floor Elevators, Sonics, etc. Their next album - "You Think I’m Psycho, Don’t You, Mama" was released in 2006 and includes 14 tracks. The title track "You Think I’m Psycho", where instead of the country blues riffs from the original you can hear a punk-blues guitar more typical of a Johnny Thunders, is originally written by Leon Payne, first recorded by Eddie Noack in '68. Boris and HOSENFEFER breathe in a new life into any song they cover. This also shows in "Victim of Circumstances" - a Roy Junior cover and, of course, in the killing "Ten Inches Higher" by the Humpers.The rest of the 11 tracks are originals and they are so classically genius that they sound as if they were also written 20, 30 or 40 years ago. Without any remorse this album could be called the quintessence of almost everything of quality that has ever been done in blues trash or garage rock since the 50's till present times – a true bacchanalia in which blues, country and rockabilly meet garage and punk.The guitarist for HOSENFEFER and PSYCHO SONIC – Filip, claims that the most important thing for them are the gigs, even more important than recording an album.
