Steve Isaac

Steve Isaac began his musical journey at the age of nine where he started learning how to play piano. At the age of thirteen he took private piano lessons for three years and started to compose and arrange his own music. After graduating from High School he pursued his musical career and attended Columbia College in Chicago and received his bachelors degree in audio engineering specializing in studio and album production. After graduating from college in 1994, he started his own recording studio (Night Dreams Studio/www.nightdreamsstudio.com) in Chicago. After 12 years in music business he engineered, mixed and produced more than 30 albums ranging from Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Dance, World, Reggae, Rock, Ethnic, New Age and Smooth Jazz. In 2003 he formed his own independent record label Solidwave Records (www.solidwaverecords.com) with a vision to sign independent artists and promote them to a national level. He signed his first Hip-Hop artist Chameleon followed by world music recording artist Lazar Malko. Both Chameleon and Lazar malko achieved major success with his label. His diverse talent led him to release his first smooth jazz/new age album titled Intimate slated for release in 2007. The album features some of Chicagos most talented singers and musicians from Rich foduli on sax to angelic voices of Maurice Jefferson, Robert Turner, Meesha and rapper E Blaze. The two new single releases from his new album titled Top of the world featuring Maurice Jefferson and his second single titled Maria featuring Robert Turner and E Blaze are expecting major radio airplay all over the country. His passion for music will never stop. He will compose, arrange and produce music until his last breath.
