BEDTIME STORIES
PURGATORIO: SECTION I (2003) .. Choreographed by Nate Hodges, Purgatorio has been nominated for a Lester Horton Award for Best Achievement in Performance by a Small Ensemble. The dance focuses on three men's journey through their personal purgatories. This section is followed by three solos chronicling their journeys. Dancers: KC Fredericks, Jason Gorman, Christopher Liu.
CHANGE/OVER (2007) Choreographed by Christopher Liu, Change/Over has been nominated for two Lester Horton Awards, one for Best Achievement in Choreography in the Short Form and one for Best Achievement in Performance by a Small Ensemble. FAERIE FOLK (2003) Choreographed by Nate Hodges. Dancers: Sebastian Arango, Bri Allard, Eloise Deluca, KC Fredericks, Jason Gorman, Jia Huang, Megan Klemz, Christopher Liu, and Bryana Verner as The Queen.
OTHER REP END OF DAYS (2008) Choreographed by Nate Hodges, Christopher Liu and Cynthia Clemmensen. A 2008 premiere, End of Days is centered around my belief that the end of the
world would be unlike most other tragic catastrophes where people, who do not know each other, are bonded
together through the event and work together to help each other. With no hope of coming out of the
situation alive and with the sheer differences in afterlife beliefs and religion, I believe that people
would actually become more divided and, as any catastrophe, no one would have any control. To aid in
this concept, the dance was separately choreographed by three artists (Nate Hodges, Christopher Liu, and Cynthia Clemmensen) within the setup of the Five Stages of Grieving, but who were unable to stage their own
movement, resulting in a dance, much like an outcome of such an event, that none of them could have imagined.
