This camp was started in 2002 by veteran professional snowboarder and Tahoe local Jimmy Halopoff. Halopoffs professional accomplishments include victory in big-air at the 2000 Vans Triple Crown of Snowboarding, gold and silver medals at the 1997 Winter X-Games, standout parts in several snowboarding films, and he is currently featured as a character in Activision's video game Shaun Palmer Pro Boarder. Having solidified his name as a legend in snowboarding, Halopoff started this camp with the dream of bringing a new and unique experience to snowboarders and skiers of all abilities. The camp is dedicated to providing an exciting, supportive, beneficial environment on-hill where the soldiers receive personalized instruction in the private Soldiers Terrain Park while riding with top pros and coaches from around the World. Off the snow, we make sure there is plenty of action and entertainment at our nightly private parties where guests get to kick back, relax, and live it up with some of the best professional skiers and snowboarders in the world. At Southshore Soldiers our campers get to ride with the pros, learn from the pros, and party with the pros. Limited space is still available for both Session #1, the VonZipper Eyewear Signature Session, and Session #2, the Grenade Gloves Signature Session. If you wanna come hang out with the VZ team at Soldiers Camp, then Session #1 is for you. Or if Danny Kass and the Grenade Army are more your style when it comes to riding, partying, and having too much fun, then Southshore Soldiers Spring Break Session #2 the Grenade Session is what you want.
