CC Coletti is the beautiful and talented vocalist from New Jersey most widely known for her rockin duets and background vocals with Meatloaf and his Neverland Express World Tours. CC has been singing and creating music ever since she was a little girl. Her father and older brother both played guitar in several bands while CC’s Mom and older sisters constantly surrounded her with singing. At the age of 18 she started singing in small local bars throughout New Jersey, with her brother. Eventually she came to highlight her own cover band ‘CC & Crew’. CC’s first official band was an immediate hit and often drew bigger crowds than most original bands on the scene at the time. After a couple of years of developing a dedicated fan base on the local club scene, a good friend, recognized her natural talent, and was able to get her an audition for Meat Loaf as one of his back-up singers. When asked about the audition she was said to have been a little nervous about getting the job until she got a fortune cookie that said “You are about to take part in a great adventure.†A week later in October of 2003 CC became an official back-up singer for Meatloaf and was invited to join his International tour. Since then CC’s been featured on 2 Meat Loaf's DVD's, Bat Out of Hell Live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Three Bats Live. She is also prominently featured on Meat Loaf's recently released documentary, Meatloaf: In Search of Paradise. Her backing vocals can be heard on the Bat Out of Hell 3 album which was released in October of 2006.When she wasn’t on tour with Meatloaf, CC would be at home in NJ focusing on the next stages of her career by singing and writing original music with Producer/Song writer/Guitarist, Anthony Krizan (Spin Doctors, Lenny Kravitz, Noel Redding, Amfibian) as well as co-writer Mark Conklin. It was from these initial sessions that eventual fan favorites like ‘Fast Lane Addiction’, ‘You’re Taking it Hard’ and were first developed.CC’s strong vocals as well as her playful persona on stage quickly made her a fan favorite among Meatloaf’s audience and soon she was asked by Meatloaf himself to sing a duet as part of his live show. Dead Ringer for Love soon became one of the highlights of Meatloaf’s performance. Soon, as luck would have it, Meatloaf needed an opener for a couple of shows in Germany. In October 2007, CC opened for Meatloaf in front of thousands of people, singing the songs that she and Krizan had written earlier in the year. The results were overwhelming. CC was originally only scheduled to perform for the first six of the twelve shows on the tour. However, the reaction to her songs and performance was so impressive that she was asked to open for the remaining six shows.Shortly thereafter Meatloaf was diagnosed with a cyst on his vocal chord and the tour was cut short. CC returned to the States with a new found excitement and began to immediately write more songs with Krizan as well as new found collaborator Jay Jannuzzi. (Citizens Band Radio) With Krizan in a producer’s roll at his Sonic Boom Recording Studio in Raritan NJ they are currently writing and recording what is quickly becoming CC Coletti’s debut solo album and introduction to the world. The yet to be named album is said to have a classic, soulful, funky, rock feel with sultry lyrics that are like poetry flowing from the heart. With a tentative release date of August 2008, and a solid band behind her, including Anthony on lead guitar, CC's ready to get in front of her fans and try out some of the new material before an inevitable summer and fall tour. Do yourself a favor and come out and check out a show... and of course...ROCK ON!!!!
