SCHISMOPATHIC

A tribute site to the cult Polish band

About Me

Started up in August of 1988, still in the communist Poland, Schismopathic delivered some of the most extreme and remarkable outputs in the Polish Grindcore ever. Along with bands like Vexation, Hideous Chaos, Stigmatizer, S.O.War etc. they were unwritten leaders of Polish Grindcore scene of those days. In 1989 they recorded their 1st demo tape titled "Kharkharmaphatic Regurgitator", which included 9 short and brutal songs in the vein of old Napalm Death, Carcass, Unseen Terror etc. Their 2nd demo titled "D.E.M.O.C.R.A.C.Y." got some good reviews in the worldwide underground and in effect in 1991 Relapse were supposed to release their 7"Ep titled "A Better Tomorrow". But it didn't happen. Plans to release a debut Lp failed, too and shortly after working on it Schismopathic split up.
