NGOBO NGOBO, one of the most popular German ska bands, has been making people dance throughout Europe for more than 15 years now. As pioneers of the rocksteady style they played a decisive role in the development of ska in the nineties.A brief history of the band demonstrates their outstanding performance: Immediately after they started up in the early nineties, the band won two newcomer awards and released their first album “Rude Fruit” which enthused fans as well as reviewers: “Rude Fruit … textually and musically an intelligent, lively and humorous album” (feedback). Their numerous subsequent appearances on German TV spread their reputation beyond the ska scene.The sound of NGOBO NGOBO is unique!
