Hello all. I am MiAH.
I love life and the people I am close to. I have been newlywed for 10 years now to my beautiful wife and best friend Susanna (Lily). We met while we were in college and we dated for about 3 1/2 years before we married. We have no children and have no plans for children; we're just enjoying our days together as if on a permanent date. I have a wonderful family and some great friends and I cherish them all. I wish everyone could have as good a relationship with their family as I have.
I am in my early 30's. I kind of look my age, but sure don't feel it and I don't often act it. I am a bit unforgettable in appearance: I'm nearly 7' tall with dark features and extremely long hair (for a dude). Fear not the metal viking appearance, however; it's just an exterior and I am actually a gentle giant. I'm typically upbeat, pensive and contemplative, quick to listen, and slow to speak. I'm thankful for what I have and where I am in life, while always striving to better myself. I consider myself blessed in many ways and as such I want to share and do what I can for my friends. The impression I'd like to leave on people is that I am a trusted friend and a positive force in their lives.
Recording music is my passion and livelihood - I spend nearly every waking hour, 7 days a week producing and engineering recordings out of my West Knoxville, TN recording studio called The Sound Lair. The ability to run my studio full-time is a dream come true - I count myself fortunate to "live the dream" that many hope for. I quit my futureless day job in corporate America of 6+ years in 2006 and now I spend my days and nights recording the music of the many metal, rock, blues, acoustic, and indie bands and artists in the region. Running a recording studio is the perfect job for me... I love working with creative people and helping them realize their art through the process of materializing it on CD. I myself am a guitarist, and I can also find my way around a bass or keyboard. I did the band thing a few years back but I've found my true calling in running the studio; I never hoped to "be" the rockstar... I just want to help the rockstars sound even better. :) If you are interested in recording, check out my studio! And if you are a metal band... don't waste your time recording elsewhere.
