About Me

Move aside Manhattan! Adios Chicago, South Beach and Beverly Hills! Over the past decade, Las Vegas with its opulent spas, five-star restaurants, swank nightlife, and shopping to fit any budget and style from Gucci girl to clubbing queen, has emerged as a top destination for women looking to get away from it all for a weekend of sheer indulgence and bliss.
But in a city boasting a theatre scene to rival Broadway, 24 hour in-room beauty treatments, star studded casinos and award winning cosmos served in luxe, glamour soaked cocktail lounges, how do women make the most of their weekend in paradise?
Molly’s Las Vegas Little Red Book: A Girl’s Guide to the Perfect Vegas Getaway is the perfect entrée to an unforgettable “no tell” weekend for single gals on the prowl, soccer moms on holiday, and all those fabulous fun-seeking women in between.
Las Vegas Little Red Book is the much anticipated, sought after companion to last year’s smash hit Las Vegas Little Black Book: A Guy’s Guide to the Perfect Vegas Weekend by David deMontmollin and Hiram Todd Norman which earned raves for its practical no-nonsense advice for groups of men seeking that little slice of Vegas nirvana.

**** ABOUT THE AUTHORS ****
With your newest red accessory in your purse, Molly Sullivan will be your go-to-girl in the ultimate 24-hour girl’s playground where she lives, works (hard) and plays (harder). A resident of Las Vegas for nearly two decades, Molly has had a multi-billion dollar set of the strip (actual size!) at her French-manicured fingertips for more than five years as a Vegas-based journalist.
Named one of the “20 Most Beautiful People in Las Vegas” in both 2007 and 2008, Molly was also dubbed the “Vegas Insider” on E! Entertainment Television’s docu-drama, Paradise City, which was produced by Ryan Seacrest and Go Go Luckey Productions. Now, some may say that it was a gamble on the credibility factor for a journalist to be featured on a documentary soap… but, Molly was willing to play that hand because she believes in her fabulous city, she believe(d) in her crew, and mostly importantly, Molly believes in herself! A year later, we hear that Molly's phone is still ringing (thankfully), so it’s all good. After all, you’re only as good as your last story...
... which is why Molly wakes-up early every morning and hustles. Whether it happens on the red carpet, or on the sideline… it’s a safe bet to assume that Sully (Molly's nickname) and her photographer will be there to bring you the story first!
Intrigued? Okay, we'll REWIND...
Molly’s love for broadcast journalism and the world of sports started at the age of four while attending the 1984 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles with her mother and father. It was there where Molly conducted on-going field reports at various sporting events with the help of her parents’ video camera and a pink hair brush. In 2000, everything appeared to come full circle as Molly competed for a spot on the USA Swimming Team at the Olympic Team Trials in Indianapolis. And after 14-years as a nationally ranked distance swimmer, Molly hung-up her swimsuit for a business suit after graduating from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Go Tar Heels!).
Enter: the real world. The self-proclaimed news junkie quickly landed a coveted internship at Las Vegas CBS affiliate, KLAS-TV. Six-months later, with her first demo reel fresh off the deck and sparkling in her back pocket, she decided that the old fashioned news route of moving to a market in the middle of nowhere to simply pay dues was not for this blond bombshell. Las Vegas is Molly's home; it’s where her resources are located. So, she dabbled on the other side of news as a publicist for a local public relations firm where she learned the art of storytelling (random note: Barbara Walters’ first paying job was also as a publicist). But, the PR gig was just Molly's day job! At night, she took the knowledge that she learned from both her internship and world-class college education and upped the ante by working as a production assistant, weekend assignment editor, audio operator, editor and field producer for the WB News at 10 on KVWB-TV and Gold 33 News at 7 on it’s sister station, KFBT-TV. After a year of working 16-hour days four days a week on both sides of the news, Molly landed her first on-air gig post-college as an entertainment reporter and producer for a weekly segment called “The Vegas Minute,” which featured everything Las Vegas. The home newscast for Molly's entertainment news segment was for the nation’s number two market on the KTLA Morning News Show in Los Angeles, along with a dozen additional markets and newscasts across the country. And get this… her weekly segment also aired on the WB News in Las Vegas… the same station where Molly had worked immediately prior to signing on the dotted line. But, she wasn’t exactly on-air… yet. Molly was the “hand” in all of the shots, doing the interviews and so-called dirty work, such as writing, editing, doing the research and coordinating shoots. You see, Molly was actually hired as the producer for the segment because of her writing skills along with her overall knowledge of Vegas and “connections” as her former boss chose to phrase it. After less than two months as the producer, her host decided to indulge on an extended vacation and Molly was asked to fill-in by KTLA-TV. Molly continued to “FILL-IN” for another TEN (yes, 1-0) months until she was offered an even bigger and better opportunity... hosting her own weekly half-hour lifestyle show on the local ABC affiliate. This experience taught Molly that when opportunity knocks, you better be camera-ready!
FAST FORWARD through many additional reporting and hosting gigs... and currently, you may see Molly in action around the Vegas Valley with a mic in her hand as part of the local E! News crew, or even with a Life&Style Weekly notebook and pen, as she is an entertainment reporter and field producer for a number of national television networks, news bureaus and publications. In addition, Molly recently went back to her athletic roots as a sports reporter for The MountainWest Sports Network, which is a division of Comcast SportsNet and CBS College Sports. You better believe that Molly is having the time of her life juggling the two fascinating worlds of sports and entertainment! So, what will the next move be for this mover and shaker? Stay tuned!
