myspace codes myspace quiz Myspace Video Codes"AOM" was founded in 1992 and released first 4-track-demo "Forgotten People" after two month of existence. A few gigs and a lot of songwriting later second 4-track-demo "Break The Silence" was released in 1993 which opened doors to bigger clubs and stages. Local radio stations got notice of "AOM" and started to give the band some airplay. Especially the song "Break The Silence" was played at "Radio Bremen 4" and "Radio Westfalica". It became the bands first very small hit and "AOM" received first invitations to radio interviews. "AOM" became a very good booked band in northern Germany and started to build up a small "company". Without support of a label or booking agency they raised up an own recording studio, bought a P.A. and started touring all over Germany with their own light and audio crew. In 1996 a producer got to know "AOM" and offered a professional CD-recording to the band. First official contract got signed. In 1997 "Myramusic" published the album "Deception & Clay" and the band were touring for about one year. Most recognized was the ballad "Life Goes On", but most wanted by live audience was the 8:18 minute song "Arrogance", which let people at label become pale... hehehe. After writing a new album, which should have been released under the name "Mesmerized", "AOM" got in touch with a new producer, who wanted the band to change into another direction. Differences within the band became so big that "AOM" decided to go separate ways. So the band split in 1999 – without any anger. Plans just did not fit anymore. Singer MB released a demo-album "Splinterproof" in 2000 which had no success, unfortunately. In 2005 "AOM" went back on stage to play two open air festivals just for the fun of it… which went very well… and decided to go on. Since then the band plays two or three chosen concerts a year for their personal pleasure. That is the way they want to go on…
