Art and fashion, Eduardo Lucero mirrors the exotic and diverse style of his background and heritage. Eduardo Lucero born in Durango Mexico, was exposed to vivid colors and extraordinary surrounding at an early age. At the age of 7 he moved with his family to Chicago Illinois, were he grew up. His summers were spent in Durango, Mexico which provided a vibrant contrast, thanks to sultry weather and bold textiles. At the age of 17 he moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue his passion in Art. Attending Otis Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles he mastered and perfected his techniques in sketching and live art. Upon graduation in 1990, Eduardo found Los Angeles as the cultural melting pot he craved and made the city his permanent home. Over the next few years Lucero worked many fields including graphic design, fashion photography, fashion illustration and costume design for film and television. He also worked with Sigfried and Roy, creating costumes for the magicians and their showgirls. He launched his career in 1994. Rich colors, textured fabrics, curvaceous shapes and a definite romantic flair create his distinct design sensibility. Lucero’s detailed cuts, tailoring and talent for reinventing the classics are truly American. Lucero started his creative venture by opening a part retail store and part design studio in Los Angeles, CA on Beverly Blv. Lucero has been turning heads with his broad base of designer woman’s wear and flair. He creates a distinct look that always emphasizes sexiness. Whether dressing a celebrity or an every day women, Lucero incorporates each of their sensibilities and strengths. Every season designers come and go Longevity a brass ring.
