About Me

In recent years, young musicians have been criticised for seemingly abandoning the process of forming a band that looks to an unlimited range of influences to inspire their music. The critics feel many would rather cling to a common genre that sits before them in the hope that they will reach its summit before fading away alongside it.
Over the summer of 2006, 4 individuals looked to steer clear of such comments as the foundations of Silvercast began to take shape. The band have spent much of the summer in the studio working on material to be recorded as their debut effort as a unit. The four London based musicians are eager to unleash their hard hitting style upon the scene in the not too distant future.
Whilst Silvercast essentially look to hit all listeners with a heavier sound, it is also important to note that this does not mean they will limit their sound merely to accommodate only one set of listeners. Within the music there is a strong melodic element which has been brought into the song writing.
Having only recently formed the general aims at this early stage in development are to record material which the band believe will establish them firmly within the gigging circuit in addition to landing them what they hope will be a wide range of fans wherever they may venture.
Overall, the four hold a strong enthusiasm for their music and believe that it can reach out to a wider fan base. Underneath the enthusiasm lies a strong determination to succeed and be heard, a characteristic which should bring them to your attention that little bit sooner than you all think.
Stay tuned!
