Anthony T. aka didactikid has been interested in music at an early age. Playing his moms Soul Records and editing cassette tapes for his imaginary radio show kept his interest alive.
In '89 he picked up the guitar and played for 3 years learning alot musically.
During that time he saw a DJ on TV making sounds he's never heard before.
Didactikid liked what he heard and in '92 bought his own mixer and turntables.
He taught himself to match beats and scratch with House Music. He would spin at small events, house parties, garages, backyards and block parties.
In 1996 his interest shifted to HipHop. He felt a bigger sense of freedom with HipHop as far as turntablism goes.
In '99 he began making HipHop and Experimental Music with friends and software programs.
In the year 2000 all his interest fell into Drum and Bass being influenced by friends from back in the day to strangers involved in the music.
Now didactikid is Co-founder and resident DJ of Konkrete Jungle Chicago.
