My Interests

Poetry - It reveals my innermost thoughts about love; about relationships and life in general. This is one of my latest. It's entitled "Glory". It gives people something to think about. To me, it's an eye opener, the epiphany of life, when you realize that every thing you're faced with, could be worse. It goes a little something like this:Every day we seek to find, what’s buried deep within our minds. We’re reminded always of the past, we have no knowledge of future’s last. We carry with us ‘til judgment day, hope and faith to find our way. With every step we may say a prayer, visualizing we may one day get there. Wherever there may be - we get there proud, why then are our heads still lost in the clouds. Why then do we continue to search, for the gold and diamonds of this crumbling earth. And if by chance we one day see, what’s expected of our destiny. Would we grab it so quick as to never let go, Would we run from fear, turn white as snow, Would we stand tall in courage, Look destined in the eye, Would we go after this dream, Would we even try. Are we going in the right direction simply because we were told to go left. Should we think before we move, Seek help or try for ourselves. When we take the chance and discover we were wrong, should we fall down in shame or stand up strong. Who’s to say what you claim to know as truth is truth. At what point does one say “no more” and take that leap from the roof, At what point do a brother say “yes I can”. At what point do a sister realize the strength of her man. Is all this confusion sticking in your head? Do you not see life is good until you see you are dead I ask that you realize you do not have to kill. I ask that you strive, take big chances at will. If this mission be too hard, you’ve tried and can no longer do the rest, take a moment, repent now, Let God guide you to glory’s nest.Diva Dynasty

I'd like to meet:

Alicea Keys because she's poetic, beautiful and respected by her peers; such as myself. I love her. So much of her writing reminds me of myself and I believe we'd make a great poetic team.
