About Me

böhm-halle-sell was formed in the spring of 2003 and has played mostly at festivals and clubs in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

The bands debut-CD, "try to org" was released in 2003 on the german label jazzcuisine recordings and got wonderful reviews
(for example: www.jazzdimension.de )

With the new record "ozon" out on jazzcuisine recordings/ILK the band now plays concerts also in Scandinavian and South Europe. This second album is again an exciting mixture of electronic sounds and beats, acoustic piano and a lyrical, partly processed trumpet.

Since the first album "try to org" the trio has developed its melodic chamber-nujazz, and have added more colours to their palette.

Also interesting is the live performance with an exclusive video installation of the video artist Thomas Fuchs, a mix of prefabricated visuals and live videos on 3 different screens.
