I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm 44. Love my husband and son. Live out in the country - I have goats and horses for neighbours. And there are lots of animals, too.I've just started selling Mary Kay cosmetics. Wonderful products. The skin care is awesome and the handcare is incredible. I won't have to go through another winter with sandpaper for hands or feet!http://www.marykay.ca/kbouchard1 to shop online. If you already have a consultant, please buy through her. If not, hope to hear from you!

My Interests

I feel like I've lost them all with the job I have other than my husband and son. Amateur photography - mostly nature, papermaking (although I haven't done it in quite a while), good graphic design (not ready to get back into it yet but I do appreciate what others do), my Mac my SexyMac.

I'd like to meet:

Here, I'd like to meet people for chatting, inspiration, generally talk about what you normally talk about with friends/family while hanging out.

Music:

Why is Wind It Up getting any airtime? Even Fergilicious is better than that.

Movies:

Final Destination 3 was just stupidity with an unusual amount of gore thrown in. Whatever happened to camp gore, like the Friday the XIII movies or the Nightmare on Elm Street movies? They were fun and hilarious. Now it's just gross.
The Movie Of Your Life Is A Cult Classic
Quirky, offbeat, and even a little campy - your life appeals to a select few.
But if someone's obsessed with you, look out! Your fans are downright freaky.

Your best movie matches: Office Space, Showgirls, The Big Lebowski If Your Life Was a Movie, What Genre Would It Be?

Television:

Desperate Housewives - new episode tomorrow!

Books:

Pandora by Anne Rice when I'm not reading my Mary Kay literature. There's a lot to go over!

Heroes:

I find that word has been overused since 9/11. However, I do have a few - Memere, Terry Fox, Silken Laumann, Kelly Bouchard, Annie Guerin

My Holidays

I had a much needed rest from the crap that I call work. Felt sick for the most part, but it was good to be able to lie down and sleep whenever I wanted. We wound up kicking the tree out on the 30th b...

There may be some interesting times ahead

Victor had a meltdown at work yesterday. He is Officially Fed Up. He and Whitesnake pushed each other's buttons again and boy, he's had it. We were quietly discussing what had happened when she came u...

I speak like Muttley more often these days

If any of you understand that subject line, then you're as old as I am - and you're racafracafriggin' right now.I'm still part of the working poor. Had something very, very nice happen to me at work -...

I feel sad

Not sure why - I've been in tight financial spots before. Guess this time it pisses me off because all I did out of the ordinary was buy some Christmas presents and a couple of pyjamas for Francis - a...

I need a vacation

I always hate the weeks that Jean-Rémi works 4 to 12. We never see each other properly. We usually see each other while sleeping or just barely awake.Francis always has to get angry with one of us. Al...

Any way I can get rid of all this white space and let the background show through?

Anyone?

Happy Thanksgiving

Saturday, Jean-Rémi and Francis were on the 4-wheeler doing stuff around the house. They came back in a little while later with Francis crying. I thought, what now. Well, it turns out Daddy let Franci...

Best Damn Funeral I've Ever Been To

This past Saturday we buried my Uncle Higgins' ashes. It was to be a rather low key affair - a small gathering at the cemetery then back to the Oasis - Higgins' hangout - to raise a glass to him, a li...

Tales from the Corridor

Received a little surprise at the end of the day. Julie was outside and told me that Donna, who's a pretty bona fide source, has heard there will be another round of layoffs in October. Julie and I ju...

Dawson College

It's still a little hard to wrap my head around the whole thing. If you're so unhappy with your life, why kill other people knowing full well you're going to take your own life?At work that day, it wa...
