About Me

Hey Everyone! Our songs are now available on I TUNES!!! We will be putting all of our new music up as well so keep an ear open for it!.. Thoughts of crossing started as two brothers (John and Tom Hummer) and their good friend Mike Bal making music in the basement of John and Tom's house in 2001. After making purely instrumental rock music for a little over two years, they were joined by John and Tom's older brother Pat, and had a few different singers until they decided to put Brandon Kester on vocals in spring of 2004. With the addition of these two members came a widely varied background of musical inspirations ranging from jazz, to metal, to rap, and even to alternative rock. After some recent changes due to personal interests Thoughts of Crossing has changed its line up. Now haveing John, Tom, and pat Hummer and their long time drummer Mike Bal. Vocals will be taken over by the remaining members. With new compositions underway be expecting a new EP by spring and maybe a suprise Nov. 3 on their scedualed date with The Garage on 105.1 Expect to hear a whole new band! PAts Vocals are filled with intensity but never send out a negative message. Each song is meant for everyone to be able to relate to. Johns guitar riffs bring out catchy melodies and rythms that bring you back to the song time after time. Mike and Tom function as a complex and smooth rythm section. Usually bending the strusture of the song but keeping it enjoyable and always controlling the dynamic intensity.
