If it is possible to have a book fetish, I think I might have one.
Right now I seem to be going a more political route, more realistic as to what's happening today and what has happened in the past that has shaped my views. I've been reading biographies of great historical figures (currently reading CHE by Jon Lee Anderson) and true crime. I also recently picked up No Logo by Naomi Klein, and The Art of War by Sun Tzu. My next foray into biographies will be Mao Tse Tung. It's all about understanding the mind.
For escaping reality, I enjoy Anne Rice, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Laurell K. Hamilton, Poppy Z. Brite and some manga (new to me).
Magazines I read on a regular basis are:
Adbusters
Gothic Beauty
Fangoria
Maxim
Shojo Beat
Rolling Stone
Playboy
There's more, once again I will add once I find the time.
I don't know any heroes, I depend on myself
