Over the years Paul Souza has been described as a Singer, Hell Raiser, Ass Kicker, Bass Playing String Popper, Guitar strummer, Crowd Pleaser kind of performer but that's only the tip of the iceberg.
Paul has been the driven front-man for several bands that had demonstrated great promise and showed much potential, with 20 years experience of live performances & studio tracking (recording) as a Vocalist, Bass Player and playing guitar. His vocal training and influences tend to be a diverse and are of reflection of the different styles of music he’s been exposed to over years. Although mostly known to have worked with Rock or Metal (bands or projects) his vocal training his actually classical vocal training, Paul studied thoroughly with a Mezzo Soprano for 4 years, wanting to increase his range and also improve on stylistics.
This singer / songwriter also as countless shows under his belt, 2 full length albums, too many demos to enumerate, has co-written an entire CD with a Montreal Producer that’s yet to be released but should be out in a near future (Can't drop name right now due to the nature of the project) and co-wrote a few other tracks for other artists.
Now back at the helm pf 27 PILLS (the project was put on ice for a while for both business & personal reasons) hopes & aspirations are high to achieve new heights & surpass whatever was accomplished in the past. FREAK the first single had received radio airplay rotation, not to mention video rotation on MUCHLOUD for the video single, which still airs to this very day, the debut CD was extremely well received by both fans & critics alike. 27 Pills feels now more determined then ever to prove something.
Paul also continues to write material on his own stating that writing songs is what he does and can not imagine himself ever stopping, the charismatic lead singer / songwriter is also always open to doing different collaborations with other artists. So what does the future hold? Only time will tell…….. ..
