Deejays, musicians, producers and remixers, 4 words to describe the world of SUPERNOVA, "EMIJAY" Nencioni & Giacomo "G.O.D.I" Godi.SUPERNOVA is the results of years of experience and research, a unique sound which goes over every already existing scheme or tendency.
Through their live set SUPERNOVA perfectly express their background of deejays and musicians creating an explosive mix of soul, funk and acid house: not only a sound, but even a style, a brand.Their live set is made of unpublished songs, written and produced by SUPERNOVA and exclusively played live through different equipments (this is very rare for clubs) and appreciated not only in Italy but even abroad.
In their live-set SUPERNOVA play the perfect example of a new timeless sound where funk overdoses, sampling from the eighties, soul and hip hop are all mixed together, arranged and played in tech, minimal and tribal style! Music to listen, to see…to dance!They recently come back from the second China tour which bring Supernova to play in the best club of Shanghai, Hangzhou, Beijing and Tianjin.The debut album “Downtown undergroundâ€, distributed by SONY-BMG is now in stores and available also in Japan’s digital stores. The new single and video “Dude†is airing in the most important national radio and TV networks and the vinil is out on Lapsus Music with remixes from Francesco Farfa.
In January 2008 was born their new club label LAPSUS MUSIC distributed by Self and all the most important digital music stores. (iTunes, Beatport, Juno download etc..)
From September 2007 they host a monthly one-night party ( Downtown Underground Party ) at Gasoline club, Milan, inspired by Dave Mancuso’s Loft parties based in the New York scene at the end of the 60’s.
