I was bored i have a few weeks off and did not know what to do with my self, my friend deb told me I should start my own myspace page, so here I am.A little about me.
I was a struggling comedian in the late '70s, I joined a comedy troupe called the Groundlings. The name was a reference to Hamlet.
I play a charecrter (Pee-Wee Herman), a quirky bow-tied man created in 1978. I first started doing Pee-wee when I was part of the Groundlings. His development was one of those organic things. The director and founder of the Groundlings knew I was looking for a suit for Pee-wee to wear, and he had one. It was too small, which made it perfect. The voice came to me one day, and someone gave me a bow tie that was tiny. Then Pee-wee started to emerge fully formed and ready to be born.I have been in a number of films, including Cheech and Chong's Next Movie, where I played a hotel clerk and played my charecter Pee-wee, Cheech and Chong's Nice Dreams, where i was a coke-snorting psycho "Hamburger Man, and I played Pinocchio in the Faerie Tale Theater production.
i have appeared in more movies and tv shows then that, that is just a few of them im sure you all have seen, I began writing a feature length film starring Pee-wee. Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, directed by me, and my friend Tim Burton the movie was a great success. and after the movie I was offered a deal to do a children's show.
