About Me

This page is dedicated to Steven Munro - my Knight. Steven was born 16 February 1986. He suffered from a disability called Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenia (AMC) as well as Epilepsy or something else that caused him to have fits and he needed 24 hour care.
Despite this Steven never moaned once about the pain, countless operations he had to endure or about the fact he needed help with almost everything he did.
I met him in 2000 and eventually regarded us as boyfriend/girlfriend over a couple months (although he told me it was love at first sight for him).
He had a heart of gold always thinking of others and never complaining about his own problems. In that way he was wiser than his years. His sense of humour was that of any teenager - rude and crude but he wouldn't be himself without it.
He became my rock, supporting whenever I needed to talk or to be distracted he was there. Making me smile and laugh like no one else could.
Then on 19 November 2003 he passed away in his sleep aged 17. RIP my Knight xxxxxx

Gone in 60 Seconds He loved anything to do with cars and even tried to get us to have a race together in our wheelchairs but I knew I would win outright coz my chair goes 5 mph while his only went 4mph so I spared him the humiliation of being beaten by a girl lol.
