Vaught was discovered by the Flamingos where he would latter become their saxophonist touring with them for a span of three decades. Caught along with the Flamingos, was ultimately inducted into the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of fame on March 1,2000. Such accolades allowed this gifted instrumentalist to tour both nationally and internationally, performing with music legends such as: Ray Charles, Sarah Vaughn, B.B. King, Dizzy Glimpse, Smokey Robinson, Gladys Knight and the Pips, the lake Sam Cooke, and Jackie Wilson to name a few. Vaught also performs at various festivals and nightclubs throughout California with Rhythm and Blues diva Ella Pennewell.
