What is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu? Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art with a simply strategy - take the fight to the ground, control your attackers balance and position, and then end the conflict with a technique that renders your opponent unable to continue the fight. This unique form of jiu-jitsu, developed in Brazil over the last 50+ years, shares it's roots with Japanese Jiu-Jitsu and Judo.

No. All that you need is to show up, be yourself, and be open to the experience Old shorts and a t-shirt that you won't mind getting stretched or a Gi....
