NO COAST APPAREL

In the wake of taking over the world

About Me

Not the East Coast or the West Coast. No Coast Apparel is representing the in between from the Rocky Mountains of Denver, Colorado. The goal of the company is to sell quality clothing to people who want just that. We are going to use only the best quality textiles out there that are NOT made in sweat shops. This does mean a little hike in the prices BUT as we have always heard. You get what you pay for. Also on top of that when you make an order you get to chose between FOUR(READ THAT FOUR) charities of your choice that we will donate 5% of your final order to. These charities come as follows.1) City of Hope and Affiliates. . . Compassion was the driving force that led to the founding of City of Hope in 1913. That spirit lives on at City of Hope National Medical Center and Beckman Research Institute, which today provides help to millions of people who are battling life-threatening diseases. Here, some of the world's most knowledgeable physicians, researchers, scientists and health care professionals join forces to treat and to one day cure cancers and other life-threatening diseases. These distinguished experts provide state-of-the-art patient care and also conduct leading-edge research. City of Hope has more than 300 physicians and scientists and over 2,500 employees that work to find the causes of and cures for cancer and other life-threatening diseases, including diabetes and HIV/AIDS.2) CARE . . . . . CARE is one of the world's leading humanitarian organizations fighting global poverty. Founded in 1945 to provide relief to survivors of World War II, CARE quickly became a trusted vehicle for the compassion and generosity of millions. Our reach and mission have greatly evolved and expanded since. Today, CARE helps poor families and communities in some 70 countries create lasting solutions to their most threatening problems. CARE's integrated projects include emergency relief, community rehabilitation and longer-term projects in areas such as education, health and small-business development. Each year, CARE helps tens of millions of people around the world affect real, positive changes in their lives.3) Action Against Hunger Action Against Hunger's mission is to save lives by combating hunger , malnutrition, physical suffering and the associated distress that endanger the lives of children, women, and men in emergency situations of war, conflict, and natural disaster.ACF's involvement typically begins with emergency relief in response to a crisis, but relief is always reinforced by longer term programs enabling victims to regain their autonomy and the means to live independent of external aid. In carrying out our activities, all members of ACF's International Network adhere to a charter of principles that forms the foundation of our humanitarian commitment: independence, impartiality, nondiscrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, and transparency. In the short term, we address hunger and malnutrition by providing food and water in emergency situations. In the long term, we provide training in nutrition, food security, water and sanitation, and health care to ensure self-sufficiency and help to rebuild communities. Action Against Hunger's Scientific Committee pioneered the therapeutic milk formula (F100) that is now widely used by all relief organizations and has significantly decreased the global mortality rate of severely malnourished children and adults under the age of five from 25% to 5%, enabling them to lead healthy lives.Action Against Hunger is directly at work in 40 countries on 5 continents with teams of fieldworkers consisting of nearly 400 specialists in the fields of nutrition, agriculture, water and sanitation, and public health. Action Against Hunger relies on the skills of its local teams of 4000 people to develop programs that are well adapted to the needs of its beneficiaries.4)The Animal Welfare InstituteSince its founding in 1951 the Animal Welfare Institute (AWI) has sought to reduce the sum total of pain and fear inflicted on animals by people. In the organization’s early years our particular emphasis was on the desperate needs of animals used for experimentation. In the decades that followed we expanded the scope of our work to address many other areas of animal suffering.Today one of our greatest areas of emphasis is cruel animal factories, which raise and slaughter pigs, cows, chickens and other animals. The biggest are in our country, and they are expanding worldwide.Another major AWI effort is our quest to end the torture inflicted on furbearing animals by steel jaw leghold traps and wire snares. AWI continues its work to protect animals in laboratories including promotion of development of non-animal testing methods and prevention of painful experiments on animals by high school students. Representatives of AWI regularly attend meetings of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora to fight for protection of threatened and endangered species. Similarly, we attend meetings of the International Whaling Commission to preserve the ban on commercial whaling and we work to protect all marine life against the proliferation of human-generated ocean noise including active sonar and seismic air guns. AWI works to minimize the impacts of all human actions detrimental to endangered species, including the destruction of natural forests containing ancient trees, and pollution of the oceans destroying every kind of marine life.So ontop of getting quality clothing you will also be helping out people you may have never been able to do so previously. So take a gander and if you like. Feel free to contact us.
