About Me

the people and circumstances, both good and bad, have formed this art in me. i am a mosaic. there are pieces of my life that have been smooth and beautiful to behold. still, there are a few that are jagged and rough - cutting through this facade of mine. but here they lay, side by side - pieced together by masterful hands; held together by His grace alone. and though up close none of it makes any sense at all, i trust that His kind eyes see the whole picture. i know He's the masterpiece in me

Music:

I sincerely believe that music is the universal communicator - it knows nothing of language or race. Music - well-thought out music that is - has the power to move (or even still) the soul. I love music that touches the heart or tells a story - whether it be a message of hope, faith, love, loss, purpose, change, etc.I love, loVE, LOVE live music, so you music types better find yourselves to Philly!!!

Movies:

Life is Beautiful, Usual Suspects, Everything is Illuminated, Pride and Prejudice, Little Mermaid, Bridget Jones' Diary, FunnyFace, Memento, Amelie, Going Home, Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, Akeelah and the Bee (quite a random selection, no?)

Television:

Extreme Makeovers...

Thoughts on Christmas

It's so strange... it doesn't feel like Christmas. For one thing, we've had unusually warm, spring-like weather up here in Philly. No snow, no yearly visit from Santa at our store. It feels as though...
