I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm the lead singer of Louisville cover rock band REDLINE (formerly called Powderburn). Please check us out at www.myspace.com/RedlineRocksU, www.LouisvilleRedline.com, or at www.LouisvilleMojo.com/RedlineRocksI used to be in an all-original band called ECHO'S AIM. The band broke up several months ago, but you can still hear our music at www.myspace.com/EchosAim.I’m a laid-back and outgoing guy. My life sounds like a contradiction because I’m an electrical engineer by day and a rock band lead singer (and occasional crack guitarist) by weekend. I'm looking for some cool new friends who like having a good time to chat and hang out with.Louisville Mojo Name: MusicMan

My Interests

Playing with my little girl, going out to see other local bands, hanging out with friends, working out, playing sports, playing guitar & singing, trying new restaurants, geeky scientific stuff, traveling, camping, hiking, bungee jumping, parasailing, skydiving (well.....I haven't actually done that yet...gonna try soon though), whitewater rafting, and LOTS of other stuff.

I'd like to meet:

Fellow musicians! All cool people on this planet, regardless of race, creed, national origin, age, yodeling ability...you get the idea.

Music:

Almost everything but whiny country. Right now, mostly newer rock like Audioslave, Puddle of Mudd, Creed, Disturbed, Linkin Park, Tool, Maroon 5, Godsmack, Dave Matthews Band, Incubus, Portishead, etc. I also like a lot of older rock like Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Pearl Jam, etc. My buddy Derrick has even gotten me into drum & bass, techno, etc. lately, though I'm still a total moron on artists & genres. I'm learning! I also really like an old band called Styx, but I doubt many of you have heard of them. I listen to Classical and Bluegrass when the mood is right.

Movies:

The Godfather, Office Space, Armageddon, Braveheart, Star Wars (yes, all 5 of them), Stargate, American Pie, Something About Mary, The Sixth Sense, Lord Of The Rings, just to name a very few. How can anyone not like an entire TYPE of movie???

Television:

South Park, Friends, Stargate SG-1, Fear Factor, Fox News, History Channel.

Books:

Mostly science fiction and technical/scientific books. I know that sounds borking, but I'm an engineer for crying out loud!

Heroes:

War Veterans, without whom we would not have freedom to express ourselves.
