La Mer

"La Mer" is a french word that means "the sea" in translation. What do you think of when the word "the sea" is heard? Some will think of the actually ocean and picture it to be nothing more than what they can see. Others go deeper and think that there's a darkness to my personality, or that I go on as far as the eye can see. To those of you that have guessed that you're on the right track. Again, I name myself "the sea" is due to the fact that yes I indeed have a darkness to my personality and that also I do go on as far as the eye can see, there's much more about me than meets the eye. However, you're all leaving out one important aspect that completely defines what an ocean is: deep. The deeper you wonder you the darker it gets, less air is breatheable, and the further down you go. Fear is sometimes a side-effect on your way down to the bottom and sometimes death occurs. But for those lucky few that have reached the very bottom can behold a beautiful sight, like jewels in broken ship. However, it's depressing to know that there's only one of my kind and it won't last forever. I only hope that you can take in what's there and come back up before time is up. But remember that on the surface the sea is as far as the eye can see. There's much more about me that waiting to be found.
