NEW ERA

NEW ERA is a group of guys from Crossville Tennessee trying to make good clean rock and roll. For the most part NEW ERA has been a around on and off for about six years now, but with the current members since September of 2006. Working through personal problems and finding the right lineup for our style of music has definitely thrown us several curve balls. We are back for good this time with the best lineup of experienced musicians around and we are positive that we have worked out all the kinks. Now we are ready to get down to business (the business of making killer music without drama and everything else that would be on a vh1 behind the music). It sounds really corny and typical to say, but we are really all about the music. We all have families and we aren't looking for that typical rock and roll lifestyle. So we can go ahead and skip that and just worry about musically pleasing our fans, which pleases us as well. Music is our release and livelihood and we just want to share that with as many people who can relate to it as possible.NEW ERA consists of the two founding members Lonnie Brown (Lead Vocals and Guitar) and John Johnson (Vocals and Guitar) who have been writing and playing music together for over 10 years. Through this time they have searched for the right people with the right attitudes and styles to match up with theirs. In September 2006 we added Josh Dyer (Bass and Vocals) and Randy Neal (Drums), two talented and experienced musicians that completed the NEW ERA lineup. We have spent the time since writing songs and preparing to promote and perform our music.
