I absolutely love to go to the theater, which was one of the many reasons for my move to New York and my favorite theater experiences include seeing Alan Cumming in Cabaret and Ralph Fiennes in Richard II.. But just because I am in New York, does not mean I have forgotten my roots, which is why I still love my Philadelphia Eagles and the Phillies. I have been collecting Fairies for ever (perhaps 15 years) and I absolutely love to travel- (and am looking forward to my trip to Paris in a few months). I have always enjoyed music and discovering new bands, though admittedly I will always love my 80's music and I become a bit competitive when it comes to the Oscars and our annual pool. And in all honesty, I sometimes love to be at home with friends and family, good food, and a great bottle of wine.
Owen Wilson, as he is the perfect combination of goofy yet brilliant; J.D. Fortune, cause he's pretty; Donovan McNabb, as I think he is the ultimate roll model as well as an amazing quarterback who has given me lots to cheer for over the past few years; Chase Utley, the best second baseman in the league; and Ralph Fiennes whom I think is the best actor alive.
I have to say my favorite band since the age of 12 is INXS. I also enjoy The Cure, Depeche Mode, U2, Death Cab for Cutie, The Lovehammers, Mink, Duran Duran, Erasure, Love and Rockets, and well the list could go on forever.
I absolutely love film and going to the movies and it would be impossible to list all of my top choices. I would have to say my favorite movie is The English Patient, which most people don't understand but I still cry every time I watch it and Katharine says "promise me you'll come back" and never have more beautiful words been spoken when she says "We die rich with lovers and tribes, taste we have swallowed and bodies we have swum up like rivers." This is closely followed by the Royal Tenenbaums- the combination of Wes Anderson and Owen Wilson is simply brilliant. I also love Gone With the Wind, Moulin Rouge, Bottle Rocket, and the original Sabrina with the beautiful Audrey Hepburn. And Girls Just Wanna Have Fun will eternally make me smile.

To me the best thing that has ever been on television is Pride and Prejudice with the amazing Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy. As for shows, my favorite at the moment is Heroes and during the summer, I cannot miss an episode of RockStar though this year's show was not nearly as compelling as RockStar INXS My favorite shows of all time are Twin Peaks, X-Files, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. And just like every single girl in the city of New York I too loved Sex and the City. As for current shows, I am watching Supernatural, Grey's Anatomy, Bones, Friday Night Lights, and Lost.
I suppose this is where I should try to be quite intellectual but the truth is, in all honesty my favorite books to read are cheesy British Novels, toped of course by Bridget Jones and followed by many more including Lucy Sullivan is Getting Married, Stargazy Pie and the Shopaholic series. I just read an amazing book called Light on Snow which absolutely made me weep. I do love all the works by Jane Austin, especially Pride and Prejudice. And a Midsummer's Nights Dream, most likely because I have a mild obsession with Fairies.
