I like singing and music in general. I like dancing, but I always feel that I need practice. I like all animals, but I like cats the best. I like to ice skate and roller blade. I like to be outside a lot. My favorite seasons are autum and winter. I like to play piano and violin. I enjoying writing short stories and poems. I love learning new things and putting what I've learned to good use! I like meeting new people and making new friends and traveling!
I'd like to meet:
Well, I really just like meeting new people. But if I had to pick one person on the face of the earth that I would really like to meet, it would be Tori Amos. She's a very strong woman and I bet I could learn about life from her!
Music:
My taste varies. I don't like country or rap. But I do like classical, musicals, and operas. I also like Tori Amos, NIN, Ladytron, P.J. Harvey, Icon of Coil, The Cure, Dead Can Dance, Covenant, Pop Will Eat Itself, Wolfsheim, The Cult, Portishead, and all the other goth bands out there. I like jazz too, especially Billie Holiday. I guess my taste in music is just all over the place!
Movies:
My two VERY favorite movies are The Nightmare Before Christmas and Girl with a Pearl Earring. I love horror movies and Indy films. But really I like all sorts of movies, except chick flicks. I think I'm the only girl in the world that doesn't like them. I mean, come on! Romance does not happen that way!!!! They leave me thinking Get real!
Television:
I don't really watch a lot of TV, but when I do I watch the Cartoon Network for Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and Time Squad. I also like Sponge Bob Square Pants, and The Fairly Odd Parents on Nic. There's always Dirty Jobs, Deadliest Catch, Mythbusters, Ghost Hunters, and of course Most Haunted! I find those last two shows funny.
Books:
I really don't have much time to read. So, I read a lot of sheet music and scientific articles for work. But my two favorite books are: Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte and Affliction by Russell Banks. The book WAS better than the movie!
Heroes:
I have five real life heroes in my life:Pat-Man the Avenger: Part time super hero, part time CAD operator; Low Income Batman aka Bruce Wyatt; The Hispanic Ninja 4 aka Eloni; the Kung Fu Kick Ass Kid aka my younger Brother Bob-O, and last but not least, my Grandma just because she is who she is.
