About Me

In the summer of 1991 Paul met William in Toronto. William had played in White Chocolate, in New York City. Paul had played in The Grendels, in London, Ontario. They soon decided to form a band. Bill and Asif from The Grendels joined them.A tape of River and Nausea was played on college radio in Toronto, and another cassette was handed out to friends, but Vine never sold any cassettes in stores, and did no interviews, so very few people in Toronto ever heard them, unless they listened to CKLN, or saw them live. They played their last show in January of 1993.Today, Bill makes music for commercials. Asif works as a lawyer. William plays bass in Seam. Paul makes music as The Undecidable.

Kalamazoo Also Produced A Fine Vine

In 1992 there was a band from Kalamazoo Michigan called Vine as well. If anybody knows where to find their music, please contact us. We're curious to sample their vintage. The more the merrier.
