About Me

Hello,
My name is Coen and I'm a musician from Oss, the Netherlands. I started playing the piano at the age of 8 at the local music school. After highschool I studied classical piano for two years at the "Brabants Conservatorium" in Tilburg (the Netherlands). Then I decided that classical music wasn't my thing and began my studies at the "Rotterdam Pop Academy" of the conservatory of Rotterdam. I graduated in 2007.
My main occupation is Epica, a female-fronted metalband from the Netherlands in which I play the keyboards.
Besides that I'm working on another band called SIC which is more groove-oriented.
Besides playing music I'm also teaching Harmonics/Theory at NPAC (Nederlandse Pop Academy) in Utrecht.
