About Me

Hi there! I design womens clothing "mostly sexy, sexy dresses!" Without have taken a single fashion design course in my life I started designing dresses when I began hitting the Hollywood club scene some many years back.

Now, many of my current designs are still inspired by those outlandish nights of flair and fashion! I sew my own dresses and feel that aside from uniqueness "design wise" that quality and detail is what largely sets my clothing apart from most retail garments.

You can view my designs on www.KarenDoll.com or check out some of the samples I have here in my pic section!

Enjoy! XoXo!

My Interests

Designing and sewing sexy clothing (buttless babydolls being my signature pieces), collecting arachnids/ walking stick insects/centipedes and meeting other bug enthusiasts. Yup, I have a small closet full of creepy crawlies! ;) Probably my biggest passion though is computer art. I love mess'n with Photoshop and uploading new creations to my site www.karendoll.com !

I'd like to meet:

Creative people with hearts as big as their imagination!!! People with integrity!

I've been very fortunate to have come across some of my old Cross Creek Manor friends here (Kelly, Marilee, Devaki). Yup, I spent some of my youth days in a girl's home in Mormon "Hell Hole" Utah and would love to meet up with more of my delinquent comrades! Please message me if you were one of these unfortunates!!! :)

P.S. Lastly, I'd like to meet the Cedar Street Sluts or anyone who can direct me to them..., or at least tell me where the hell Cedar Street is! Hehe..

Music:

The Cramps, Big Black, Caustic Resin, The Damned, The Pixies, Cop Shoot Cop, God Speed Black Emperor, Deftones, Anal Cunt, and GG!

Movies:

Irreversible, Spider Baby, Female Prisoner Scorpion 701, original Dawn of the Dead and Chainsaw Masacre, Family Portraits, anything from Takashi Miike (Audition, Visitor Q), Bad Boys (with Sean Penn), Masters of the Flying Gulitine, Sex and Zen, The Hustler, The World of Suzie Wong, Buffalo 66, and Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia!

Television:

Not really into tv anymore but ocasionally I'll leave it on for background noise (generally any documentary or true crime show). The discovery channel is darn good. And oh yeah, although I have to rent them, Masters of Horror is a good runner up!

Books:

Uh Oh! Do the magazines I bring to the potty count? Hmmm, or what about the book The Happy Hooker? ;) Mostly I'm interested in art books; Joel-Peter Witkin, Henry Darger, the new Men's Adventure (compiled artwork from their past zine covers)... The new "Cannibal" and forensic crime investigation book "Bodies We've Buried" were probably my last recent bedtime readings though.

Heroes:

My Father and Jacques Cousteau!
