i love it. a lot.
it has incredible powers of transformation and inspiration...
depending on my mood or the mood i want to create, satiate, or incubate, i go through spurts of this and that, sometimes a band/artist, sometimes a genre ....
that make you think, feel, react.
i like getting carried away to another world for a few hours.
and i like these guys because they never let me down:
david lynch
quentin tarantino
robert rodriguez
tim burton
"the opiate of the nation"
but there are some tv shows i love : twin peaks, six feet under, freaks and geeks, welcome back kotter, the wonder years, the simpsons, that 70's show, the twilight zone (b&w), the brady bunch, charlies angels.
make me happy. especially esoteric and art reference books. and folktale, fable, and mythology collections.
and some biographies/memoirs too.
the library is a really good friend of mine.
my all time favorite novels:
artists and rebels and freedom fighters such as:
jim morrison
alphonse mucha
albert einstein
jim henson
frida kahlo
frank zappa
salvador dali
madame blavatsky
albrecht durer
john lennon
aleister crowley
bill hicks
