About Me

I have a staring problem.
I created my own myspace layout using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!

My Interests

The way people tick, acting, cooking (when I have time, which is never), balancing the day job with the real life's work

I'd like to meet:

Eddie Izzard, Fiona Shaw, fun creative people, yer mom, Tony Soprano. I want to tell him to relax.

Music:

I suppose Radiohead and Miles Davis deserve an honorable mention, since they got me through my last year at Hampshire, and my div 3 with an ounce of sanity left over. Jazz and motown, classical and punk, bands with people I know in them, singer/songwriter stuff.

Movies:

Breakfast at Tiffany's, Waiting for Guffman, Annie Hall, Little Miss Sunshine, Psycho, South Park movie. I like funny, quirky, scary, meaningful stuff. No romantic comedies please... unless Woody Allen made them. Also, do not watch 'The Black Dahlia.' Seriously. Don't do it.

Television:

The Sopranos, 6 Feet Under (I know it's over, but I just caught up), South Park, The Office, (I'll watch the American verision, and it's funny, but the British version is way better),Strangers with Candy (This profile makes me look sweet, but I'm actually a sicko), and of course LAW&ORDER!!! I will be on that damn show one day if it kills me, though the rumor mill has it I don't have much longer. I'm on season 2 of The Wire and season 1 of Battlestar Galactica. Thank you Netflix.

Books:

Last weekend: Creepy guy in the park: 'Hey, what are you reading?' Me: 'A book about the Nazis.' He was surprisingly undeterred and tried to talk to me about it for awhlie. My nerdiness eventually scared him off.

Heroes:

um... I really admire Cherry Jones for having the balls to be a bonafide theatre actress who doesn't sell her soul to do crappy movies. I like ballsy broads in general so Lauren Bacall, Dorothy Parker, Katharine Hepburn qualify. Jon Stewart I love, anyone who can speak about politics intelligently without being boring or self righteous gets a gold star. John Morton too, anyone who puts up with me as much as he does, and now he's even marrying me, is a brave soul. I can't believe I've left this out for so long, my comedic hero is Catherine O'Hara. So funny! All the time! Even when she's in the background of a shot she's the funniest part about it. I look up to lots of people, but I don't expect heroics out of anyone, that's too much pressure. Just doing the best you can is enough for me.

My Blog

you shot who in the what now?

Okay, my job is a little weird. We all knew that, selling extremely expensive paper to people who can actually afford it is weird, because really who uses stationery anymore anyway...

wtf is up with 'Lost'

Okay, I promised I wouldn't do this stupid blogging thing anymore, but I have to get public opinion on this issue. I know I'm painfully behind in the world of pop culture, but I just watched the last ...

I AM NOT A BLOGGER!

I'm all for the elasticity of the English language, I invent new words all the time, especially when I can't think of the right one to use, but I don't like the word blog. I usually like words that ca...
