Looking to add another guitarist and a permanent lead singer, Ian Hutto was recruited for lead guitar duty, and Tony Rycraft was selected to rock the mic. Eventually playing The Rave in Milwaukee with Mushroomhead and Crossbreed in December of 2005 and Sevendust and Nonpoint in February of 2006 marked an upbringing in R.I.D.'s future and exposing them many new friends. Tony added even more to the bands already unique sound, helping to further bring everyones different styles and influences together. Tony left the band in December of 2006, leaving on the best of terms with the band. The show must go on, so after countless interviews, auditions and a lot of hearsay, they have added ****** ****** as their frontman. R.I.D. has been called and compared to metal, rock, hard rock, punk, thrash, hardcore, grindcore and whatever other genre of music you want to call it. No matter what name you put on this band, it is something different. Their newest transformation seems to be leading to a new sharper edge in music. Stick around as they get ready to record some new material with our newest lineup, and bring some loud, fast, heavy music right to your doorstep.
