2 NEW SONGS NOW UP!

About Me

Somatic calls Chicago's southside home. Hatched in 2006 a battle plan was formed and the band (at the time, John, Tony, and Paul) began writing music with the intention of a 3 song EP release in July of 2007. That plan was redefined as Rich was brought in on bass, and Peekaboo. With numerous packed-venue shows out of the way, and an amazing 5 song EP recorded and distributed, Somatic has already proven that it is not just a typical bar band. Although their EP "Plan B" packs quite a punch, it simply does not do justice for their live performances. With extraordinary energy, out of control programming and lights, and general stage mayhem, Somatic always leaves a venue with a lot more friends than they had before the show. A secret can only be kept a secret for so long, and the cat is out of the bag. Somatic is not a "scene" band, a "local" band, or a "bar band." Somatic is poised to join the ranks with national and internationally touring acts in the near future. Nothing in the music world comes for free, and Somatic has paid their dues. With every member coming from a background of several "could-have-been" bands, and every one of them (including their crew/family) being a working class, day-to-day type of person, no band understands hard work and dedication as well as Somatic. So come on out, have a few drinks, and party with the band. It will be a night to remember, we can promise you that!!!Tour booking and all other info.
