Riot Inside is an unbridled outbreak of mayhem, a disturbance of the public peace in a disrupting and tumultuous manner that manifests itself in the form of a Chicago area rock band that is ready to take the city and the nation by storm. Drawing from influences like Sound Garden, Tool, Rage Against the Machine, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and Stone Temple Pilots, Riot Inside lays a raw, driving foundation underneath unique and powerful melodies to make relevant and meaningful hard rock music.
Formed in Chicago in the spring of 2007, the band has evolved into its current lineup. Riot Inside is vocalist Gary John, Guitarists Lew Jones and Stefan Wieckowski, bass player Josh Gordon, and drummer John Castro.
With a sound that is rooted in rock, metal, and alternative music, Riot Inside has already played or booked gigs at several Chicago city and suburban music institutions including Double Door, Elbo Room, Reggie’s Rock Club, Penny Road Pub, and The Mutiny. Riot Inside is ready to play shows everywhere in Chicago and beyond, and will bring back the passion and power that bands today no longer embrace.
