World Sisters United

media content from the heart

About Me

World Sisters United is an non-profit international media collective established to give the womans point of view from around the world. WSU is happy to announce the opening of a permanent headquarters now established in Angeles City, Philippines. WSU provides media creation tools, training and facilities to foster international cultural exchange through heart-directed social networking and conventional media delivery channels. Its many media production projects are centered around developing small businesses using a traditional "barn raising" approach where the members help each other build small sari-sari shops (variety food shops) and other viable businesses such as small farms. Each chapter of WSU becomes an open forum to explore solutions to the problems and struggles that young women face in their own communities and respective nations. All the activities and projects are well documented using cheap digital camcorders and edited into broadcast media. In the Philippines the main thrust is to help young woman from poor families avoid the fast growing international web cam sex industry which is at present the most lucrative and viable job option for young women in the Philippines. WSU is currently working on establishing non-profit status in three countries (US, India and Philippines) and releasing its first documentary production featuring footage shot and directed by the WSU members themselves. WSU strives to deliver heartful media content supporting peace, love and balance with nature and man.
